In the old days, those who wanted Fame & Glory went out & won The Battle of Waterloo. Nowadays, those who are in search of Fame & Glory forget how to exit a car gracefully or chug Vodka out of a Voss bottle. These are their stories...
Britney Spears’s current rehab stint has already had one positive outcome -- Kevin Federline's transformation into Super Dad.
A source close to the former back-up dancer says he's currently put his life on hold while he works overtime to care for his two sons (Sean Preston, 17 months, and 5-month-old Jayden James) and bring his family back together.
“He’s devastated and cries all the time,” a source close to Federline, 28, tells Us. “Kevin wants to get back together with her. He is her biggest supporter."
The former Mr. Spears may be Mr. Responsible now, but he wasn’t always the picture of perfect fatherdom. In the days before Sean Preston was born, Federline was seen partying and smoking marijuana in L.A. and Las Vegas.
But his experiences with Spears seems to have transformed him. And he might be helping the pop star get back on track, too.
It was at least partially at his urging that Spears entered rehab at the Crossroads Center on the island of Antigua. And when she checked out a day later, Federline and Spears’s mom, Lynne, took the drastic step of taking her children away from her. Federline reportedly told her couldn’t see her sons again until she went to rehab.
It’s unclear how Brit will fare in all this, but one thing is clear: K-Fed is emerging as much more than a punchline for late night TV fodder.
Last year he worked up a sweat for the cameras almost daily.
Over Christmas and New Year he rather fell off the radar.
But he hasn’t let his exercise regime slip and, just as I was starting to miss his six-pack, it’s back.
Matt was snapped in Surfers Paradise, in Queensland, Australia, parading with his board and toning up on the sand.
It’s good to have him back.
Well, his torso at least.
Britney Spears is "doing great" in rehab, according to actor Daniel Baldwin.
Daniel, 46, claims he bumped into the troubled 'Toxic' singer at Malibu's Promises rehab centre when he was leaving the facility after completing his own treatment for drug addictions.
Daniel - the brother of Hollywood stars Alec, William and Stephen - told Us Weekly magazine: "I told her if she needed anything or if she wanted me to bring anything to her where she's at, I'd be happy to come see her.
"She's doing great, she looks great. She seemed like she was a little fearful. I mean, she's a young girl - I have kids older than her. I think that she knows that she needs some help, and God bless her. All we can do is pray. That's what I want people to do - pray for her."
Daniel gave mum-of-two Britney, 25, his mobile number so she could keep in touch, and told the star "don't drink, don't use".
He added: "It's really simple. One thing I mentioned to her is if you took a look at how much effort you put into going out - at least for me - and using and doing the things we do, compared to how much effort you need to put in to stay sober, it's infinitesimal on a comparison basis."Daniel - who was arrested in April on charges of being under the influence and carrying cocaine paraphernalia - said he has now been sober for 97 days.
Britney Spears' first husband has claimed he enjoyed three-in-a-bed romps with the star.
Jason Alexander - who was married to Britney for just 55 hours after the pair wed in Las Vegas in 2004 - has revealed how the singer took part in drug and drink-fuelled lesbian romps and group sex with female dancers.
American footballer Jason, 25 - a childhood friend of Britney's - told Britain's Sunday Mirror newspaper: "She stripped down and was dancing naked on the table with a bunch of dancers.
"They were squeezing her t**s and a**. I saw her walk back to one of the bedrooms with one of the female dancers.
"Every guy would love to see buck-naked b*****s going at it and that is exactly what was behind door number one. Britney and this girl were having some lesbian fun so I dropped my pants, hopped right into it and enjoyed every second."
Meanwhile, Britney's estranged second husband Kevin Federline, visited the troubled star at Malibu's Promises rehab clinic - where Britney is on suicide watch after allegedly trying to take two bottles of painkillers.
Putting their bitter divorce aside, Kevin told Britney: "I'll stand by you if you clean up your act. I just want you to get well."
After leaving rehab for the second time last week, Britney was photographed furiously attacking a car with an umbrella when Kevin - who was looking after their two children, Sean Preston and Jayden James - refused to see her.
She later returned to rehab, after fearing her erratic behaviour could cost her custody of her sons
On searching the troubled star, staff at Promises allegedly found a "death list" written by Britney which listed her enemies.
Top of the list was Kevin.
A snitching source close to the power couple affectionately dubbed Jayonce claims the pair has officially called it quits:
“[Jay Z]’s not 25 - he’s been ready to settle down and have a family for a while now. But Beyonce was asking him for more time.”
“It got to the point where [Jay Z] was constantly pressuring her and it wasn’t good for the relationship … So they both decided that it would be best if they just stayed as friends.”
The insider says, Bey’s family is happy with the couple’s decision. The source tells, “Beyonce’s family was completely against her getting married. They’re cool with [Jay Z] and all … they just felt that he was a little too serious for her at this point in her life. And at this point in her career.”
“They still love each other and they’re still good friends so you can’t expect them to just cut things off completely … For now, it’s over. But who knows what might happen in a couple of months.”
