Mischa Barton's Lil Sis Addicted to Prescription Pills Heads to Rehab

Barton's younger sister Hania, 19, has just been checked into a rehabilitation facility to treat her addiction to prescription pain killers. Hania Barton (who just turned 19 on February 18), was getting "out of control" according to sources close to the Barton family.

The former The O.C. star, 21, is said to be very upset about what is going on with her little sister, but is glad that she's getting the help that she needs. Photos of Hania partying over New Year's have been circulating around the Internet, and it seems that the family was not pleased with her behavior in the last six months. The family finally got their way and was able to talk Mischa into dumping her Whitestarr rocker beau Cisco Adler, 28, this month, and now they are dealing with Hania's problem."Everyone is hoping that this will be the first and last time Hania has to be in rehab," says the family source, "she's young, but she's a smart girl, she will be fine."



Now, if Mama Spears could take a lesson from Mama Barton and smack some sense into her daughter Britney Spears!

Given that she is planning to tie the knot with one of basketball's biggest stars, it should come as no surprise that Eva Longoria has developed a passion for the sport. And the Desperate Housewives actress certainly seemed to be getting into the competitive spirit when she attended an NBA All-Stars clash in Las Vegas on Sunday.

The diminutive star was photographed jumping into the air and shouting enthusiastically as a select group of America's most revered athletes did battle on the court. P Diddy, R&B singer Ciara, Cameron Diaz, Prince and Nicky Hilton were also on hand to support the teams.

And hunks shooting hoops wasn't the only thing provoking applause in Caesar's Palace Casino, as some of the pop industry's hottest talents had also come along to strut their stuff. R&B diva Toni Braxton gave a dramatic performance at the half-time break, while acrobats from Cirque de Soleil performed around her, before Christina Aguilera belted out a medley of her hits.

Later that night Eva and her fiancé Tony Parker held a glitzy party in the nightclub Pure which was attended by all their A-list friends. The glamorous couple may soon be hosting an even bigger celebration in France, however, as reports stateside say they are planning to make their vows in a few months time at the Chateau de Chantilly near Paris.

Brit Brit Wigs Out

The strange world of Britney Spears has got even stranger. Soon after shaving off all her hair, she donned a bizarre blonde, Marilyn Monroe-style wig and large black sunglasses to visit yet another club.

Showing no sign of craving privacy, the 25-yearold singer arrived at the Roxy nightclub on Hollywood's Sunset Strip for a karaoke themed birthday party. Monroe-esque: Britney wore a cheap-looking blonde wig to hide her baldness on a night out But, in keeping with her increasingly erratic behaviour, Britney stormed out after 45 minutes and headed for the Polo Lounge. She had taken offence when the DJ played her debut hit Hit Me Baby One More Time in her honor.

One clubber said: "It was a shock to see her in a wig after what she had done to herself. "While she was in the club she kept going to bathroom all the time, which was weird." Meanwhile Britney's mother Lynn left her Louisiana home for Los Angeles to be with her daughter today amid increasing fears for her health.

The star's friends and family were said to fear she is on the verge of a nervous breakdown after grabbing shears and cutting off her hair at a salon in Tarzana, California. The salon's owner, Esther Tognozzi, told of her shock - and placed the hair on eBay, where bids have already topped $1 million. "I would say please take your daughter and get her off the media circus," Ms Tognozzi said. "Take her home for a while and take care of her and her babies."

Spears, a mother of two, has become increasingly erratic in her behavior after splitting from husband Kevin Federline. She stripped to her underwear last week in a New York nightclub while partying with "professional dancers".
