Oscar Noms Announced



The Dreamgirls cast and crew must be singing the blues this morning. They may lead the Oscar nominations with a total of eight nods, but the critically-favoured, Golden Globe loved film was shut out of the Academy's two biggest categories: best picture and best director.

Babel comes in second with seven nominations, which were announced early Tuesday morning. Pan's Labyrinth and The Queen follow with six nods each. The Oscars will air Feb 25.
