HOLLYWOOD - Lindsay Lohan is denying press reports suggesting she and Britney Spears' ex-husband, Kevin Federline, are a new item after spending a steamy afternoon together in a Los Angeles hotel.

New tabloid reports claim Federline spent the night with Lohan at the Raffles L'Ermitage hotel in Beverly Hills last week after she phoned him and invited the rapper to join her for a drink.

Sources tell the National Enquirer, "Kevin and Lindsay are dating, and Lindsay made the first move.

"Kevin met Lindsay through Britney, and they were always flirtatious with each other."

The insiders claim Federline was invited to "talk business" with Lohan and he thought the meeting with Lohan would be about a film project.

Lohan reportedly suggested the pair speak in private after Federline turned up with his manager, and then retired to her suite with the newly divorced father.

The publication claims the couple made love. Lohan denies the story.

On her official website britneyspears.com, the pop star asks fans to "send your thoughts and inspiration" through an email.

Concerned fans are pouring in the support from all over the world with positive messages like, "Relax and don't rush yourself, we are here for as long as it takes for you to get better."

While the site is displaying some of the more inspirational messages, there's no guarantee that every letter will be posted on the site. A confirmation warns that Britney's "team" will "review the message and consider it for posting."

Superstar Madonna has come under fire for failing to properly restrain her 17-month-old child in her vehicle.

Much like the controversy surrounding pop star Britney Spears last year, Madonna's adopted son David is at the centre of media attention after he was recently photographed not strapped into a car seat.

The 48-year-old and husband Guy Ritchie loaded their three children into their SUV after March 2 services at the Kabbalah Centre in Los Angeles, but baby David was not properly restrained.

A witness tells American publication Us Weekly: "There was no car seat.

“(Madonna) sat in the middle row and they left with David on her lap."

The following day, Madonna allegedly defied the law by once again by sitting in the middle of the vehicle with six-year-old son Rocco not properly secured.

A representative for the singer slams the claims, saying: "Proper security measures are always taken for Madonna's children."

Within days of her suicidal behaviour, Spears - who was in and out of rehab before shaving her own head and later attacking a photographer's car with an umbrella - was begging estranged husband Kevin Federline not only for a reconciliation, but demanding she wanted to soon have another baby.

The ordeal began when she terrified staff by writing the number of the beast on her head and running around the clinic screaming, "I am the anti-christ!"

"The clinic people just didn't know what to do," a friend claimed.

The pop star then tried to hang herself with a bedsheet was but was found before she could hurt herself.

Before checking in to Promises rehab center in Malibu for the second time, Britney Spears enjoyed a strange, bewildered day with two new friends.

Bright and early on February 17, a newly bald Spears arrived at L.A.s chic Mondrian hotel, ready to catch some rays. But the star was denied a room due to lack of credit cards or cash.

By 11 a.m., an undeterred Spears, 25, had stripped down to a bra and panties poolside, then shaved her legs in the pool bathroom.

“It was sad,” says a source. “It looked like she really needed a friend.”

She got two – at least for a few hours. Around noon, Spears (then in a blonde wig) began chatting up a woman in the bathroom, who offered to loan the pop star a bathing suit.

Spears followed her new friend to her hotel room where -- after changing into a borrowed bikini -- she raided the minibar.

“She grabbed four or five bottles and just started mixing everything and drinking them.”

K-Fed Tells His Side of the Britney Saga

Britney Spears’s current rehab stint has already had one positive outcome -- Kevin Federline's transformation into Super Dad.

A source close to the former back-up dancer says he's currently put his life on hold while he works overtime to care for his two sons (Sean Preston, 17 months, and 5-month-old Jayden James) and bring his family back together.

“He’s devastated and cries all the time,” a source close to Federline, 28, tells Us. “Kevin wants to get back together with her. He is her biggest supporter."

The former Mr. Spears may be Mr. Responsible now, but he wasn’t always the picture of perfect fatherdom. In the days before Sean Preston was born, Federline was seen partying and smoking marijuana in L.A. and Las Vegas.

But his experiences with Spears seems to have transformed him. And he might be helping the pop star get back on track, too.

It was at least partially at his urging that Spears entered rehab at the Crossroads Center on the island of Antigua. And when she checked out a day later, Federline and Spears’s mom, Lynne, took the drastic step of taking her children away from her. Federline reportedly told her couldn’t see her sons again until she went to rehab.

It’s unclear how Brit will fare in all this, but one thing is clear: K-Fed is emerging as much more than a punchline for late night TV fodder.

Britney Has a New BFF: The Other Baldwin

Britney Spears is "doing great" in rehab, according to actor Daniel Baldwin.

Daniel, 46, claims he bumped into the troubled 'Toxic' singer at Malibu's Promises rehab centre when he was leaving the facility after completing his own treatment for drug addictions.

Daniel - the brother of Hollywood stars Alec, William and Stephen - told Us Weekly magazine: "I told her if she needed anything or if she wanted me to bring anything to her where she's at, I'd be happy to come see her.

"She's doing great, she looks great. She seemed like she was a little fearful. I mean, she's a young girl - I have kids older than her. I think that she knows that she needs some help, and God bless her. All we can do is pray. That's what I want people to do - pray for her."

Daniel gave mum-of-two Britney, 25, his mobile number so she could keep in touch, and told the star "don't drink, don't use".

He added: "It's really simple. One thing I mentioned to her is if you took a look at how much effort you put into going out - at least for me - and using and doing the things we do, compared to how much effort you need to put in to stay sober, it's infinitesimal on a comparison basis."

Daniel - who was arrested in April on charges of being under the influence and carrying cocaine paraphernalia - said he has now been sober for 97 days.

Britney Spears' first husband has claimed he enjoyed three-in-a-bed romps with the star.

On searching the troubled star, staff at Promises allegedly found a "death list" written by Britney which listed her enemies.

K-Fed Files an Emergency Custody Hearing

TMZ has learned that Kevin Federline has asked a judge for an emergency hearing on Thursday to discuss his custody dispute with estranged wife Britney Spears.

A court spokesperson says only K-Fed and his attorney are scheduled to appear before the judge, but adds "anything is possible."

Federline filed papers in November seeking spousal support and sole custody of the couple's children- 5-month-old Jayden James and 17-month-old Sean Preston. As TMZ previously reported, a temporary court order granted the couple joint custody, with Spears having primary physical custody of the boys.

Now, with Spears' recent erratic behavior, coupled with the fact that she's been in and out of rehab twice in the last week, all bets may be off.

Britney to Hand Over the Kids to her Mom

Britney Spears is reportedly considering making her mum, Lynne, the legal custodian of her two sons to prevent their father Kevin Federline getting custody of the boys.

Kevin pledged to fight for custody of 17 months old Sean and 5 month old Jayden when Britney specified she wanted full legal and physical custody when she filed for divorce last November. According to the Sun, his legal team have been closely watching Britney’s constant partying since then in order to portray her as a bad mother when the case comes to court.

Lynne Spears arrived in Los Angeles last week to supplement the care given to the boys by nannies. A source told the newspaper: “Britney has called in her mum to make sure nobody can accuse her of neglecting her children. She is terrified that Kevin will take them.”

In related news, an onlooker has revealed that Britney nearly broken down in tears on Friday when she thought she’d missed her flight to Los Angeles.

After leaving rehab, Britney was spotted running through Miami International Airport to catch a flight to Los Angeles but when she arrived at the gate, she found that the flight was closed and the walkway had already been retracted from the plane.

A passenger at the adjoining gate told People magazine: “She was really upset. She [said] to the ticket agent, ‘I’ve got to get on this plane to get home to my kids.’ She looked like she was about to cry.”

The agent then called through to the pilot, who let Britney board the American Airlines flight. Britney gave the ticket agent an autograph then smiled and waved at the onlookers, saying “God bless.”

An American Airlines spokesperson told the magazine that allowing late arrivals on board is not unusual as long as the flight isn’t delayed.

UPDATE: A spokesperson for Britney has told People magazine: “Britney Spears has voluntarily checked herself into an undisclosed rehab facility today. We ask that the media respect her privacy as well as those of her family and friends at this time.”

The strange world of Britney Spears has got even stranger. Soon after shaving off all her hair, she donned a bizarre blonde, Marilyn Monroe-style wig and large black sunglasses to visit yet another club.

Showing no sign of craving privacy, the 25-yearold singer arrived at the Roxy nightclub on Hollywood's Sunset Strip for a karaoke themed birthday party. Monroe-esque: Britney wore a cheap-looking blonde wig to hide her baldness on a night out But, in keeping with her increasingly erratic behaviour, Britney stormed out after 45 minutes and headed for the Polo Lounge. She had taken offence when the DJ played her debut hit Hit Me Baby One More Time in her honor.

One clubber said: "It was a shock to see her in a wig after what she had done to herself. "While she was in the club she kept going to bathroom all the time, which was weird." Meanwhile Britney's mother Lynn left her Louisiana home for Los Angeles to be with her daughter today amid increasing fears for her health.

The star's friends and family were said to fear she is on the verge of a nervous breakdown after grabbing shears and cutting off her hair at a salon in Tarzana, California. The salon's owner, Esther Tognozzi, told of her shock - and placed the hair on eBay, where bids have already topped $1 million. "I would say please take your daughter and get her off the media circus," Ms Tognozzi said. "Take her home for a while and take care of her and her babies."

Spears, a mother of two, has become increasingly erratic in her behavior after splitting from husband Kevin Federline. She stripped to her underwear last week in a New York nightclub while partying with "professional dancers".

Brtiney's Former Assistant Writes Letter to Britney Fansite

Britney's former personal assistant Felicia Culotta, wrote the following letter to Ruben, the owner of one of Britney's largest fansites, World of Britney. How sad is this that she is disgusted by the Britney Spears we all see now. Brit get some help baby girl, for yourself and your babies.

Once again–I commend you for your Honesty and Integrity. I have been reading your new website daily and am grateful to have that to go to, to check on the antics of Britney. Britney doesn’t have a Publicist for me to clear this thru first, so it will come directly from my heart to you!

I am writing in response to “Where is Felicia?” on your editorial.I am home–in Mississippi…….I am now a trained Corporate Flight Attendant and fly with a tiny jet company out of Georgia. I am also a substitute Preschool Teacher at the Church Preschool in my town. I LOVED being with Britney for the past 9 1/2 years. I enjoyed being a part of HER dream, but now, am living my own dream.

I cherish ALL the incredible opportunities that came my way thru my job with Britney and am crushed/saddened/heart sick by the way her life is unfolding…….

Once Again Britney Proves to be Mother of the Year

Honestly I don't know why I keep posting shit about Britney. I have given up on her completely. But I had to get this out...As you can see in the pic her youngest son Jayden James (who is under 1 year) is sitting in a forward facing car seat. Everyone and their brother knows that a child is not safe in a forward facing car seat until at least a year old. She is just so lazy and negligent that she doesn't want to be caused any additional trouble by having to strap him in a rear facing seat. What an asshole.
