Ewan's Bike Adventure

Scottish actor Ewan McGregor is known for his adventurous motorbiking trips around the world...

Now, Ewan's wife will be coming along for the ride.

Ewan, 35, plans to bike from John O'Groats in Scotland to the tip of Cape Town next year with his pal Charley Boorman.

Ewan's wife Eve will be joining the duo for several weeks... and has been learning how to ride a motorbike:

"Being away from my wife and kids is hard but it's part of the work of being an actor anyway," Ewan said. "My wife is very supportive. She'll be coming out for part of the next trip.

"I have been married for 11 years and she has rarely even been on the back of a bike but she's training to ride and will do the middle three weeks with us."

Ewan and Charley previously biked from London to New York via Mongolia, Siberia and Alaska, as documented in the 2004 Sky One series Long Way Round.

For a very long time my number one man has been Mr. Ewan McGregor. I can remember seeing Trainspotting for the very first time and not being able to breathe at numerous times during the film (I was fifteen and very dramatic). Time has passed and besides my fabulous hubby (who resembles Mr. M w/ a beard), Ewan is still my number 1. Number 2 & 3 have varried throught the years, but my main Scotsman has never faltered. Here he is looking smoking hot filming a flick in Madrid called The Tourist with Hugh Jackman.
