Charlotte Church Looking Rough on Holiday w/ Girlfriends

Glowing with health and showing off her changing figure, this is Charlotte Church taking pregnancy in her stride. The 21-year-old TV presenter, who is four months pregnant, is enjoying a no-expense-spared holiday in Thailand with a gaggle of female friends - including the sister of her rugby player boyfriend Gavin Henson.

She is understood to have spent £100,000 on the break at the exclusive Rayavadee resort and has told friends it is a "hen week holiday", providing the strongest hint yet that she plans to marry Henson before their child is born.

Last month marked the most frenetic time of Tori Spelling's life. On March 13, the star of Tori & Dean: Inn Love gave birth to son Liam, her first child with husband of 11 months, actor Dean McDermott, 40.

But Liam didn't come easily.

Spelling's water broke 15 days earlier than expected and her doctor had to induce labor, which ended up lasting 17 hours. The contractions "felt like I was being Tasered!" the 33-year-old actress tells Us in an exclusive interview.

"As foolish as this sounds now, I wanted to feel how bad it would hurt. But I think I let the pain go on a little too long before I got the epidural."

When Liam's heartbeat started dropping, the actress' doctor, Dr. Jason Rothbart (also Angelina Jolie's Ob-Gyn), explained he needed to perform a Cesarean section.

"I asked Dr. Rothbart if he'd do a good job, and he said, 'Well, Angelina didn't complain.' So I was like, 'If Angelina let him do a C-section in Africa, I am OK. I felt comforted by that.'"

Spelling's good spirits can also be attributed to another recent significant event: She and her mom, Candy, 61, recently reconciled after a nine-month estrangement. In fact the two reconnected for the first time when Candy showed up at L.A.'s Cedars Sinai Medical Center on March 12 to be with her daughter while she was going into labor with Liam.

"I'm so happy she's back in my life," Spelling tells Us. "Having a child puts it all in perspective. Knowing the bond I have with Liam means that I get my mom's bond with me."

She's been keeping a low profile since the birth of her twins Hazel and Phinnaeus in November 2004, preferring to dedicate her time to being a full-time mum. But Julia Roberts was back on the scene in LA last week as she and her 37-year-old cameraman husband Danny Moder popped out for a bite to eat with their two-year-old kids.

Devoted mum Julia, who is expecting her third child in early summer, was comfortably dressed in leggings and ballet pumps, and toting a colourful children's book to help keep the youngsters amused.

"The kids bring her such a sense of fulfilment and joy," revealed Julia's long-time friend, film producer Marc Platt, in an interview last year. "It's wonderful to see."

Family life certainly seems to be a priority for the beautiful actress, who largely withdrew from filming commitments in order to care for the twins just after their birth. And although she returned to the set in October to lens Charlie Wilson's War, she made sure her family were with her during filming in Morocco.

And, in the run-up to the birth of the couple's third child, the actress' husband of five years has been taking extra special care of Julia. "He's been massaging her feet, he's been cooking, and he's been looking after the twins," revealed a friend of the star, adding: "Julia's joking that she wishes she could spend the rest for her life pregnant. It's been heaven... thanks to Danny."

Tori Spelling Loves Being a Momma

First-time mom Tori Spelling welcomed son Liam last week, and she and husband Dean McDermott have been loving every minute of new-parenthood, she says.

"We are finally out of the hospital and spent our first day at home with little Liam," Spelling, 33, writes on her MySpace.com blog. "It's been the most amazing week and experience of my life."

The baby, who weighed in at 6 lbs., 6 oz., and measured 19½ inches when he was born on March 13, is quite the looker, his mom says: "I might be a biased mommy but he is so beautiful. I just stare at him in amazement. I can't believe I have been given this unbelievable little gift."

Spelling's new reality show, Tori & Dean: Inn Love, debuts on the Oxygen network on March 20 and she's in the process of reconciling with her mother, Candy, so Spelling has lots to be grateful for – and she knows it.

"I feel like the luckiest girl in the world," she writes. "[Liam] is my little angel baby and I had no idea you could love someone you've only known for four days this much. But my heart is jumping out of my chest with love. Mommihood ROCKS!"

She signs off with a shout-out to her fellow mothers: "Well, Liam needs to be fed so momma must go ... love to all of you and especially every mommy out there. I have such a newfound respect for you!"

Johnny Depp has vowed not to return to acting until his daughter is fully recovered.

Filming on new movie Sweeney Todd has been put on hold since Lily-Rose, seven, was admitted to a London hospital two weeks ago.

Staff at Pinewood Studios, Bucks, have now been told they will be laid off at the weekend unless Depp, 43, returns.

A film source said: “He does not want to come back until Lily-Rose gets the all-clear. The plan is to re-employ everybody when she is better.”

Johnny Depp's Daughter Recovering from Illness

Johnny Depp’s 7-year-old daughter is on the mend at a British hospital where she has been battling an undisclosed illness.

“We are happy to report that their daughter is doing much better,” Depp’s rep tells Us. “The family greatly appreciates the continued support and respect of their privacy.”

According to the U.K. publication The Sun, Depp, 43, and his partner Vanessa Paradis, 34, have been holding vigil for their daughter Lily-Rose since she checked into the hospital nine days ago in “serious condition.”

The Pirates of the Caribbean star -- who lives in France with Lily-Rose, Vanessa, and their four-year-old son Jack -- was due to start filming Sweeney Todd in England when his daughter fell ill.

A hospital source tells The Sun: “They are worried sick -- but Lily-Rose is getting the very best treatment available.”

“Johnny is deeply concerned about his daughter," a studio source added. "As soon as he heard that she is unwell he went to her bedside. He will do anything for his kids.”

To protect the family’s privacy, publications are being asked not to publish the nature of the illness or the location of the hospital.
